Restaurant Betula

We recently stayed at Villa Kristina, and Restaurant Betula was conveniently located right outside our door, right on the water. After the first meal, we continued to eat every meal there, as it was absolutely amazing. The Chef has a unique talent and used mainly local fresh ingredients. This in itself was a treat, as the local olives, seafood, truffles, feta cheese, and cured meats like prosciutto are like a taste from heaven. The pear in puff pastry was incredible, as was the poached eggs with salmon for breakfast. I could go on and on. Try to make it a point to find this restaurant, and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the region, while savoring the local fare. Top marks!

The restaurant was reopened by a great cook! It was not only the most beautiful restaurant with the best location, but also by far the best food at the Coast of Montenegro! The cook prepares everything freshly by hand. Every dish was special and perfect. Thank you very much for the great dinner!

A hidden gem, beautiful interior, lovely staff. The location setting was stunning and the food was delicious. A must visit! Park in the random car park at the back and walk through to the sea front and you’ll find this incredible restaurant.

This restaurant deserves every praise. The menu is not as usual "sea menu", and the food is prepared in a unique way compared to other restaurants. The calamari, which are usually prepared similarly in most places, are truly special and excellent here. The fish is cooked with a lot of vegetables, which is also uncommon. The restaurant staff is very helpful and pleasant. The view from the restaurant adds to the overall good experience. The prices match the quality, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited Betula twice, on the recommendation of our host. He wasn't wrong - the food is absolutely exquisite and the views are stunning. They say that we eat with our eyes, and the chef creates the most beautiful looking dishes, and the taste matches the appearance. I have just one tiny comment - on both occasions that we visited, some of the menu items were not available - and this wasn't explained, when we were first given the menu - so we didn't always get our first choice. I understand though - that popular and great dishes will sell out - it would just have been good to know, so we knew what we could choose from. The staff are very polite and friendly, the wine list is excellent - I'm just sad that we had eaten so well with our starter and main - we did not have room to try desserts! If we come back, Betula will be top of our list!

The best restaurant in the area. Excelent food, fair prices. They offer much more than steaks and fish.
